How is shipping handled for industrial electrical equipment?

Freight is arranged on a per-listing basis. Because industrial equipment like transformers, switchgear, and generators requires specialized transport, we coordinate a custom freight quote for each order. Contact us through the Get Quote form and we will provide a shipping estimate for your location.

What is the difference between Used and Refurbished equipment on this site?

Used equipment has been tested and verified to be in working condition but has not been reconditioned. Refurbished equipment has undergone repair, cleaning, or component replacement to restore it to a functional standard. Condition is noted on each listing and confirmed during our pre-listing inspection.

Who is responsible for inspection on consignment listings?

All listings on Electrical Trader are inspected by our team before publication. For consignment items, the inspection is performed by Electrical Trader prior to the listing going live. We verify operational condition, document visible wear, and photograph key components. An inspection report is available on request.

What is the return policy for used or consignment equipment?

Due to the nature of surplus industrial equipment, all sales are final and as-inspected unless otherwise stated in the listing. We encourage buyers to review the inspection report and request additional photos or a virtual walkthrough before purchasing. Contact us before placing an order if you have specific condition requirements.

Can I see the inspection report before purchasing?

Yes. Inspection reports are available on request for listed equipment. Submit a request via the Get Quote form on the product page and a member of our team will send the report within one business day.
