Banner Ads
Category-specific banner advertising in our Electrical Trader database operates on a first-come, first-served basis. We rotate multiple banner ads within each category based on web traffic volume. For instance, lower-traffic sections like Pipe Machinery might feature one dealer's banner ad, while high-traffic categories like Air Compressors generate enough activity to support rotating ads from three different advertisers.
Current Electrical Trader display advertisers receive a 25% discount off standard pricing.
Banner ads are sized at 736 x 90 pixels and positioned at the top of each web page alongside the category heading. If you don't have a banner ad or lack design resources, we're happy to create one for you—typically for a one-time $100 fee.
How to get Started
In order to start your banner ad campaign, we will need the following:
- Category location(s) for your banner ad
- Target URL where your banner ad will link
- Artwork or banner ad image file

We can also design a professional email campaign or convert your existing marketing materials to an optimized HTML format for $150 to $250 depending on the complexity and projected completion time.
Multi-Company Spotlight Program
The Spotlight Group Campaign is sent to the same database but features multiple companies in a professional format with direct website links. This spotlight advertisement is sent quarterly throughout the year (Jan-March, May-July, Sept-Nov) at a rate of $495.
